Starting with location, it is a great choice to explore the city: one can easily walk to Millennium Park, Daley Plaza, to the starting point of the Architecture Boat tours, Michigan Av shopping mile, etc. There are also nice eateries in vicinity. The nearest bridge turned out to be an excellent location for traditional summer fireworks watching. We booked the Grand Corner King Room, and it was every penny worth. It was also one of the seldom times, when a window in skyscraper could be opened - even if only a small one, it provided for a breath of fresh air in otherwise well air-conditioned room. The design of the room was minimalist, but stylish, with a large and comfy bed and spacious ensuite bathroom. The staff was highly accommodative and welcoming. They brought us the kettle upon the first request and were overall quite attentive and friendly. The lobby is huge and nicely decorated. The restaurant, located on the ground floor serves decent food: we visited it only once for breakfast (to spend the vouchers one gets during the stay) and were quite satisfied with the quality of the offer.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights during the week of the 4th of July, and overall had a wonderful experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating—they went above and beyond to make my birthday special, including a thoughtful small gift that truly made my day. From early check-in to warm greetings throughout our stay, they made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. The room was spacious, and the amenities were top-notch. We especially enjoyed the pool, and the gym exceeded our expectations—it was much better than what you typically find in a hotel. The small perks, like the $10 daily credit we used for breakfast, were a really nice touch and added to the overall value of our stay.

Spacious room, modern and well appointed. Excellent location, but not too busy. great nearby amenities - supermarket, breakfast restaurant. Quick elevators. Good city views. great friendly staff. Taxi rank right outside, is ideal for early morning Airport transfer.

This hotel is very well located and within easy reach of Michigan Ave, Navy Pier and the River Walk. The staff were some of the best I have encountered in any hotel. They were proactive in their approach to engaging with us, responded promptly to any requests and displayed a genuine desire to ensure our stay was the best it could be.

The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was included in our booking and it was absolutely fantastic, the best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel! We tried something different for each of the 7 mornings we were there. I couldn't believe it was all included in the price of the booking. 5 star service! The location of the hotel was great and walking distance from every tourist attraction. The lobby and bar area felt really luxurious and welcoming.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Centrally located to lots of things to do and places to to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was clean and comfortable. They offered hot cocca or cookies on some days. Which was a really nice touch.

We were really pleased with our choice of the Loews for our trip to Chicago. It is in a perfect location, close to Michigan Avenue and the river but we enjoyed Streeterville itself too- Roberts Pizza, Lao Sze Chuan, and the Shoreline boat tour- and we had a great view of the lake and Navy Pier. The hotel is understated but very very comfortable, with an incredibly comfortable large bed, a desk that two can use, an huge elegant bathroom with great hot water pressure, and total blackout blinds so we slept to 8am every morning. It is probably the most comfortable room we have had on our month-long overseas trip. The lobby is cozy, hip and functional like lots of private living rooms. We had brekkie at ETA every morning and the food was great, esp the remarkable lobster eggs Benedict. The pool was just ok and full of kids, but what can you do and at least they had a pool but no jacuzzi. My family enjoyed their Streeterville Social club bar for nibbles and drinks in the sun in the arvo. My family lives in Chicago and I would stay at the Loews again in a heartbeat when we visit.
